Suez Canal looks too narrow. I think that the width of the canal should be expanded to more than 400m to avoid the accident like this.
But, more serious issue is that the canal just has a single lane throughout most of its route.
When we consider that the canal is one of the most important international corridor, it may not satisfy the demand.
