When I was taking a lecture in my college days, my teacher asked me "Imagine the situation that Japan's Self Defense Force has to guard crude oil carriers from Somalia pirates. Do you think it's legitimately possible?"
I remember that I replied I had no idea.
I thought it would be contradiction to dispatch Force in order to keep peace.
But, it seems rigid reality in off coast Somalia as well as in Syria.
