There are some plans to build sea tunnel in or around China.
As far as I know
・Sea tunnel between Dalian and Yantai
・Sea tunnel between Incheon(S.Korea) and Shandong peninsula
・Sea tunnel between Taiwan and Fujian province
But, because of political issues, it's dubious that Taiwan strait tunnel between China and Taiwan is really scheduled to be constructed or not.
