Wuhu driverless monorail line opens

It's difficult to imagine why the city chose monorail system. It's understandable that Chongqing City chose monorail system, because of the mountainous topography in the city.
On the other hand, Topography in Wuhu doesn't look like it.
One possibility is that Wuhu was chosen as the city to test driverless monorail system.
