The reason why Beijing is still sticking to zero-Covid policy may be that domestically made vaccine doesn't show lower effectiveness than vaccine made in US like Moderna or Pfizer.
So, until China accepts vaccine made in US or Covid-19 stops spreading by interference of other viruses, the country will keep its policy.
