Lufthansa cancels nearly 900 flights due to German union strike

I don't know whether the labor union demands reasonable improvement of working environment. However, I think there should be union strike to make managers consider workers' lives seriously.
In Japan, there are many workers who have to work for infinite time, because they are not allowed to launch labor unions or because their union doesn't have enough force to persuade managers into improvement of working environment.
