Urgent construction of subways in Mainland China has been famous.
So, safety has been concerned and some accidents have happened. But, I've never seen derailment of subways in China, though that of high speed rail trains happened 2 years ago.
In addition to safety, how to ensure employment of workers constructing subway lines will also be a problem after the end of rapid expansion of subway lines in China.
