The first section between Tangier and Kenitra will be completed by 2015.
For me, what's interesting is whether the line will be extended from Tangier to Spain across Strait of Gibraltar.
As I expected, there is a plan to construct a tunnel between Morocco and Spain in the following webpage.

But, there must be compatible signalling systems on the line, when it comes to run direct trains between the two. By the day on which this tunnel is completed, I wish all the curve sections in Spain are fitted with the new signalling system I took up yesterday.
