In South Korea, it seems to be important to enroll international schools. Few years ago, I watched TV showing that a teacher gave bribe to an international school and got an entrance exam, and that he distributed the exam sheets to his students. The teacher was arrested.
Then, what mostly impressed me is that those who look like their parents exclaimed and cried in front of the school.
In S.Korea, academic careers are still important factors to be promoted in society, while Japanese companies have recently regarded a dubious factor called "communication skill" as an important criteria to hire employees.
