Why do they boast such an embarrassing experience?

Do men really exaggerate their number of sexual partners?
https://edition-m.cnn.com/2018/09/06/health/number-of-sex-partners-kerner/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fedition.cnn.com%2F

While the number of the partners one man has had seems to be exaggerated all over the world, there are many viewpoints about having more than one girlfriends at the same time.
I've heard that it's seen as immoral to boast multiple girlfriends in Australia.
On the other hand, we often see young men boasting such a thing in Japan, though it's formally recognized as immoral there.

Unless in the nations of polygamy, it's not worthwhile boasting.

Why don't you prepare for the biggest storms?

Though Typhoon "Jebi" was broadcasted as the most intense typhoon over the past 30 years, the typhoon "Mangkhut" became the most intense typhoon over the past 30 years.
Unlike the former typhoon, the latter hit areas where intense typhoons surge frequently. So, residents on the expected route are prepared for disaster. For example, Hong Kongers pasted tape on windows on their own houses to mitigate damage of broken glasses.
I didn't see such a preparation when the typhoon "Jebi" devastated Kansai Area 2 weeks ago.
With more intense typhoons hitting mid-latitude areas among global warming, it's important for them to learn from residents on common typhoon routes.

Summing that number and T2 in regular operation from September 7th, it's over 40% of regular flights.

Why do we have to care about showing ruins to public?

edition.cnn.com

Since it's located in low humidity area, we won't be afraid of florishing mold on paintings on the tomb.
But in Takamatsuzuka Tomb, Nara, Japan, where many kinds of ancient ruins are placed, after painting was discovered, staffs there are suffering from invasion of mold onto the painting.
So, when ancient ruins are exposed to different environment, we have to pay attention to what happens.

Why are the contactless IC cards declining?

San Francisco fare collection to be modernised
https://www.metro-report.com/news/news-by-region/americas/single-view/view/san-francisco-fare-collection-to-be-modernised.html

While contactless IC cards like Clipper are becoming common and are expanding in Japan, that system seems to be treated as an old style in California. The newest trend is an app that can issue tickets electronically.
I guess there will be an app where we can issue tickets of almost all the railway companies around the world in the near future.

Why was she booed by both sides?

Naomi Osaka: After Serena storm, US Open champion could have the last laugh
https://edition-m.cnn.com/2018/09/11/tennis/naomi-osaka-serena-williams-us-open-spt-intl/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fedition.cnn.com%2F

While She was booed in the US open, she was also discriminated in Japan by some Japanese ethnicists.
They say "she doesn't look like conventional Japanese. Why do we have to treat her as a Japanese citizen?"
So, she is backlashed by 2 reasons
・As a Japanese, she defeated the US champion
・As a daughter of the Haitian American, she can't be seen as Japanese.

She symbolizes how sad it is to be biracial one.
Even though globalization is proceeding rapidly, there seems to be a lot of people who can't understand racial diversity.

Why is the extension of the metro line interesting?

Metro line linking Suzhou with Shanghai approved
https://www.metro-report.com/news/news-by-region/china/single-view/view/metro-line-linking-suzhou-with-shanghai-approved.html

This will be the first example of connecting two metropolitan areas in China, except for Guangdong Province. Though Shanghai Metro Line 11 has already been extended to Jiangsu Province, its terminus is not in urban area of Kunshan City, which lies between Shanghai and Suzhou.

This extension symbolizes expansion of the China's biggest city of Shanghai.
Since it will be more than 100km between downtown of Shanghai and that of Suzhou, I wonder if there will be express trains on the rail line.
