Why is it important to change leaders constantly?

Jack Ma will step down from the top job at Alibaba next year

It's not good for almost all of the organizations to keep their leaders stay in the same positions for a long time. That may cause hierarchy to obey all of what the leaders say so that subordinate workers can be treated better by the leaders.
It means new ideas won't arise from subordinate workers, and then the organizations will begin declining.
I'd like to tell all the presidents "Reshuffle your organization, or that one will disappear."

Why don't they worry about their underpaid situations?

Found out your colleague makes more than you? Here's what to do about it

This becomes an issue in skills and qualifications-based society.
In Japan, no one officially complains about wage gap between workers in the same positions, because they take it for granted that payrise is based on age or how long an employee is in a company.
So, they will never take it seriously as long as there is an age gap between workers.

However, as private conversation with colleagues, we often hear complaints like "Why does that elderly man is payed more than I, even though he does nothing?"

Why don't you keep an eye on retired trains?

www.railwaygazette.com

It's often the case with JR East that retired trains in downtown of Tokyo are reassigned to suburb rails or rural railways.
Judging from the fact that the trains E231(500s) trains on Yamanote Line are transported to Sobu Line, extending radially from Tokyo.
And then, E231(0s) trains are retired from Sobu Line to begin operaion on Musashino Line, circular line connecting suburban cities around Tokyo.
So, these lines won't be destinations of the current E217 trains. I'm looking forward to seeing which lines will be chosen as the destinations.

Why is the menu specialized in a city important?

money.cnn.com

It's important for food retailing companies to incorporate local preference. It's not only starbucks but also some food retailers that have each menu in each area. For example, Ohsho, a famous Chinese restaurant chain in Japan has carried out the policy "We provide foods suitable for each area"
But, when it comes to standardization of menu to simplify tasks of the employees, it's not consistent with that policy.
I guess the best answer is "foods served in one metropolitan cities must be standardized, because there will be relocation of the employees between each restaurant. But, menus can differ between different metropolitan cities, because there won't be relocation of them and they can approach local food preference to miximize sales."

Why is the high speed rail needed?

Kuala Lumpur – Singapore high speed rail project officially postponed
https://www.railwaygazette.com/news/high-speed/single-view/view/kuala-lumpur-singapore-high-speed-rail-project-officially-postponed.html

Electrification and double-tracking renovation in Malaysia are proceeding. So, the country would think that high speed trains are not superior to renovated conventional rails in terms of speed, train frequency, and service.
But, I think it will be difficult to defeat airplanes without connecting Kuala Lumpur and Singapore within 3 hours. Considering that the distance between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore is about 400km, trains must run at more than 134 km/h.
Is it possible by renovation of the conventional railways?

Why is that typhoon devastating?
