While the number of the partners one man has had seems to be exaggerated all over the world, there are many viewpoints about having more than one girlfriends at the same time.
I've heard that it's seen as immoral to boast multiple girlfriends in Australia.
On the other hand, we often see young men boasting such a thing in Japan, though it's formally recognized as immoral there.
Unless in the nations of polygamy, it's not worthwhile boasting.
