Metro line linking Suzhou with Shanghai approved

This will be the first example of connecting two metropolitan areas in China, except for Guangdong Province. Though Shanghai Metro Line 11 has already been extended to Jiangsu Province, its terminus is not in urban area of Kunshan City, which lies between Shanghai and Suzhou.
This extension symbolizes expansion of the China's biggest city of Shanghai.
Since it will be more than 100km between downtown of Shanghai and that of Suzhou, I wonder if there will be express trains on the rail line.
