JR groups announced timetable revision which will be effective on March 16, 2024

Posts on yesterday were about JR Hokkaido, JR Central, and JR East.

・JR West
●San-in Line
Local trains between Saga-Arashiyama and Kyoto will be 4 services per hour during daytime

●Rakuraku Yamato
There will be Limited Express between Shin-Osaka and Nara, which stops at Osaka, Tennoji, Kyuhouji, Oji, and every station between Oji and Nara

●Rakuraku Harima
East terminus of the current Limited Express Rakuraku Harima will be extended to Kyoto from Osaka , and west terminus of it will be Aboshi from Himeji.

●Rakuraku Biwako
Biwako Express will be renamed as Rakuraku Biwako.

●Super Hakuto
Instead of adding one more train per day, Some of the trains won't be operated between Kyoto and Shin-Osaka.

●Hokuriku Shinkansen
With the extension of Hokuriku Shinkansen

・JR Shikoku
Trains around Kochi will be operated at even headways.

・JR Kyusyu
●Trains around Fukuoka
Local trains between Orio and Fukuma will be 2 per hour, which is increased from the current 1 per hour. It's caused by stopping less stations of regional rapid trains.

●Sightseeing trains
A Trains: 3→2 trains for both ways per day
Umisachi-Yamasachi Trains: 2→1 trains for both ways per day


Some trains are still reduced, despite termination of the effects of Covid-19. The train reduction is mainly caused by lack of train operators.
