Development of hydrogen train or locomotive is popular around the world. If conventional electric trains are completely replaced with hydrogen trains, there will be no overhead catenary. But, it's risky, if we consider the situation of the train stranded between stations by heavy snow. In this situation, suspension of electricity supply is a fatal event.
So, railways with severe weather should be excluded from installation of hydrogen trains.
