Why is the monorail important for suburban cities of Cairo?

It will be the first time for 6th October City and New Administrative City to have urban rail systems. Though both cities are suburban cities of Cairo, there was no transportation which can avoid traffic jam. So, this monorail will help reduce traffic jam.
