Vancouver SkyTrain expansion funding announced

It would be difficult to operate urban rails in Vancouver, because the city is sprawling and oriented for vehicle-use, except for downtown areas. So, I couldn't expect there would be extension of the existing railway networks.
On the other hand, I wish there could be an urban rail way in North Vancouver City, where there is no urban rail system.
