Long time ago, urban rails in New Zealand had been declined. For example, commuter trains around Dunedin were abolished in 1980s. But, rail transport in the country has been gradually revived. A couple of years ago rails around Auckland were electrified.
And now, this investment was announced. I'm looking forward to seeing how railway networks in the country will be developed.
