BTS of Bangkok's skytrain has been extended several times recently. But, it's been long since the last time that railway except for subway and BTS opened.
It was Airport Rail link that opened at the last time. I had thought that the trains currently used on the Airport Rail Link will also be used on Red line, paralleling with the current SRT's Northern Main Line.
But, according to this article, new train sets seem to be installed.
