Before democratic protests in Hong Kong more than 2 years ago, democratic candidate couldn't win elections of chief executive in Hong Kong. And some of the outstanding democratic activists were detained in Mainland. But, except for these things, Hong Kongers could enjoy political liberty. Now, most of the political liberty is being removed.
