I'm interested in this intercity metro. In many cases, China has recently built intercity rails as high speed rails.
Opening of the metro will enable us to travel between Hangzhou and Shaoxing without id card nor passport.
I guess it will convert Shaoxing into a suburban city of Hangzhou rather than independent city.
