When a kind of cuisine was imported to another country, it was difficult to completely imitate its original recipe, due to inaccurate communication, lack of food resource, or difference of widely accepted taste. It resulted in new category of food. For example, ramen is the food originated the other food in China, but was developed in Japan.
So, we shouldn't criticize "mistakenly imitated food" extremely.
