Travel diary on March 18, 2014

I was waiting for my friends at Aero Plaza in Kansai International Airport, where shuttle buses for Terminal 2 depart. After my friends came, we took the shuttle bus to Terminal 2 and, did web check-in.
We queued up for baggage inspection. Since it was during spring vacation, many people were also queuing up ahead.
After we passed immigration, I purchased breakfast and ate it.

We boarded Peach Aviation flight to Hong Kong. After reaching the airport, we ate lunch at 許留山, which is a restaurant near the gate of Hong Kong International Airport. But, food was so expensive that we couldn't eat as much food as we are satisfied.
We boarded Airport Express to Tsingyi, and transfered to Tseng wan Line and West Rail Line to get to East Tsim Sha Tsui, from which we can see skylines of the highest buildings in Hong Kong. And, we went to ChungKing Mansion to exchange money at better rate.

After that, we took Tsenwan Line, Kung Tung Line, East Rail Line, and Ma On Shan Line to Ma On Shan. But, there was no place to see. We went back to Che Kung Temple Station.

At Che Kung Temple Station

We walked to Che Kung Temple, which is the grave of Che Kung, who is the military man in Southern Song Dynasty.

We walked to Sha Tin station via Hong Kong Heritage Museum. Near Sha Tin, we ate Thai cuisine. I wondered why a waiter at the restaurant couldn't speak English.

We headed for today's hotel via Sha Tin, Sheung Shui, Lok Ma Chau/Futian Checkpoint, Shenzhen North, and Lingzhi.
