Line 11 is expected to play a role as Airport Express train. Though Line 1(Luobao Line) has already been the airport rail link, it takes a long time to move between the airport and downtown of Shenzhen due to many stations on the line.
The most remarkable thing about the line is that business class seats are designated. It's the 1st time in Mainland China's metro that business class seats are designated.
So, the rail line is like combination of Airport Express and East Rail Line in Hong Kong.
And, Nanning Metro is the first metro in autonomous area of China (as far as I know).
There will be more metro systems even in autonomous areas with China Western Development.
