With begining operation of Osaka-Singapore-Darwin airline, accessibility to Darwin from my house will be improved. (But, I won't go to Darwin unless Darwin has various railways)
When I went to Taiwan, I boarded Jetstar airplane which flies from Osaka to Singapore via Taipei. Since Jetstar Asia Airways is a company whose headquarter is in Singapore, most flight attendants were Singaporean. So, there weren't any crews who could speak Japanese.
Then, I found an elderly Japanese passenger who can only speak Japanese had difficulty in communicating with crews.
Airline companies connecting Japan and Taiwan except for low cost careers must have at least one Japanese crew. So, passengers who cannot speak Chinese at all wouldn't be concerned about communication.
Considering this phenomenon, we can say that difference of the fare between LCC and conventional airline companies includes translation fee.
