Even if he was Muslim, he would be innocent. I think whether he is Muslim or not should not affect assessment of him as a politician.
As long as he doesn't force Americans to be Muslim or believe Islamic ways of thinking, he shouldn't be blamed for Muslim. Politicians' personalities have nothing to do with policies.
Last week, a sexual scandal of Toru Hashimoto, the mayor of Osaka City was revealed. But, his immoral activities also have nothing to do with his political thoughts.
So, we must evaluate politicians in terms of their policies.
