Opening date of Kunming metro Line 6 is scheduled to be June 28, 2012.
The line connects East Bus Station and Airport Center(Kunming Changshui International Airport).
According to UrbanRail.Net, intermediate stations will open after initial opening of the line.

In China, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Haikou have each urban railway linked to each airport. So, Kunming will become 7th of them.
