With Regular Shrine Removal of Ise Jingu, Kintetsu 23000 series trains "Ise-Shima Liner", a kind of resort express, will be renewed for the first time in 18 years after installation of the trains in 1994. And the trains will run on August 4.
Exterior of the "Ise-Shima Liner" is going to consist of two colors, red and yellow, expressing sunshine in Ise-Shima.
THe new trains will serve luxurious and relaxable room. For example, interior of all the trains is going to be painted wood taste design. In deluxe cars, beige fabric is going to be used in the seats, and ornaments of pearls made in Ise-Shima are going to be scattered on the wall.
To let group passengers enjoy lunch or games, shining pink cloth on seats and natural wood table between seats are going to be furnished.
Even in regular cars, seats will be painted 4 colors to express ripple of Ise-Shima. That is expected to enhance your mood of going to resorts.
For comfortable environment inside the trains, all the seats are going to be smoke free area except smoking room in 3rd car, in addition to new installation of power plugs, bidet toilets, and multipurpose toilets for the disabled.
Even after the renewal, food services in the trains are available.
