Why are they in depression?

Tackling the relentless pressure to succeed that's driving girls to despair
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/02/28/health/girls-perfection-depression-anxiety/index.html

Not only girls but also those who don't have enough self-confidence try to compare themselves with their friends.
I guess the reason why more and more girls are likely to get stressed is the change of the objective girls that they want to compare with.

Before invention of telecommunications, compared ones are limited in nearby friends. But, after invention of radio, TV,and Internet, they have been able to see the greatest girls in the world. So, accessibility to greater girls have made them feel misery by comparison.

So, teachers will have to convince students of the fact that people on TV or Internet are beyond our ability.

Why do they choose brandnew trains?

Myanma Railways orders Japanese DMUs
http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/traction-rolling-stock/single-view/view/myanma-railways-orders-japanese-dmus.html

It's interesting that Myanmar didn't order secondhand DMUs to procure rolling stocks with cheaper price.
Secondhand DMUs have been common in the nation.
If you visit Yangon Station, you'll be able to see many kinds of the DMUs that used to running in Japan.

But, after the contract, brand new trains will appear in the rustic Yangon Station.
And, I wonder how trains can travel 267km of Yangon – Naypyidaw – Taungoo section with 3 h 20 min.
Old tracks will also be replaced?

Why can we allow China to have the eternal dictator?

President, or Emperor? Xi Jinping pushes China back to one-man rule
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/02/26/asia/china-xi-jinping-president-intl/index.html

I can't believe that it's happening in 21st Century. Even in the current political system, China is far from democracy. The revision of the constitution to let the president eternal position will strengthen the tendency.
And, recently, I wonder why so many Asian people try to obey their leaders even when they try to do mischievous activities. Confucianism, common mindset in East Asia, is suspected to be one of the causes.
I wonder how it is possible to make Confucianism and democracy compatible.

Why don't you choose Doha as a stopover

edition.cnn.com

Doha is one of the possible transferring cities when flying between Eastern World and Western World.
But, as a rail fan, I hesitate to choose Doha as the stopover city so far. Though the country has grown economically to be the developed country, there isn't any rail system. Now, Doha Metro is under construction. By the year of 2026, the system length will be expanded to 163.8 km.
Then, it's the chance to choose Doha as the intermediate destination.

Why don't you live in the place where abundant water is available?

edition.cnn.com

South Africa is the nation where people rushed to South African city to dig out gold.
It's not the only phenomenon in one country, but also happened in other countries where someone struck a gold vein.
To earn money and live there temporarily, it will be the best place. But, what we need on a daily basis is water and electricity. Especially, gold veins tend to be located in barren land. So, it would be difficult to get pure water. In the long run, it's inconvenient to live there under unstable water supply.
Though I don't know whether or not Cape Town is in its case, you had better consider availability of everything you need on a daily basis when planning to move overseas.

Why does anyone stop it?

money.cnn.com

It used to be unpredictable that communist countries can afford to acquire assets in capitalized countries.
But now, it's what's happening worldwide. Who can stopn it?
But, the similar events have happened 30 years ago. Japan's real estate companies used to buy assets in the US. But, after begining of shrinking economy, it stopped suddenly. So, after begining of stable economic growth in China, it will stop gradually.

Why are they planning to go on strange strike?

JR East will go on strike for the first time after privatization
http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/national/20180221-OYT1T50040.html

(Translation begins)
Ministry of Welfare and Labor announced notification of possible strike by Japan Railway East Labor Union on February 20th.
After March 2nd, it will be carried out in Tokyo and Chiba. But, what they won't do is limited in overtime work that's not tied to main work ,and then there will be no disruption on train operation. If the labor union goes on strike, it will be the first time after prioritization of Japan National Railway.
According to the labor union, it consists of 47000 employees, sharing about 80% of the whole employees. They also say "Whether or not we will go on strike is under discussion, and can't talk about details."

I wonder why they won't stop train operation to devastate exectives. Some people say they may have considered convenience for passengers.
But, the effects of strike are to devastate exectives by causing turmoils. Employees should act more boldly.
