How ‘begpackers’ became some of Asia’s most disliked travelers

Many East Asians have a mindset "Those who do not work should not eat something". So, from that viewpoint, traveling without working cannot be allowed. I think it's the biggest reason for becoming the most disliked travellers.
In my opinion, "Is it possible to earn enough money needed for travelling overseas just by begging?". I guess each begpacker can earn 30 USD or so, even when each one is devoted to begpacker job.
