Qingyuan became the suburban city of Guangzhou with its own metro. But, it's not connected with Guangzhou Metro network, but with Guangzhou – Qingyuan inter-city railway. Dongguan Metro is in the same situation though, Dongguan Metro will be connected with Guangzhou Metro network.
