Chinese island plans to ban sales of fossil fuel-powered vehicles by 2030

It would be difficult for China to urge people to use alternative public transportation in Hainan. That's because there is no metro system on the island. So, The government tries to deal with the issue of global warming by replacing conventional vehicles with electric vehicles.
In other continental mega cities, the government will promote using metro systems.
