Hong Kong court jails veteran activist for plan to protest Beijing Olympics

Before submission of extradition law, his activity wasn't seen as a special one. It wouldn't have been taken up on TV nor press agency. Even if someone posts it on social networking service, few people would have minded it.
But, after crackdown on protesters in 2019, it's been impossible for citizens to even show anti-Beijing emotion. Hong Kong lost huge political liberty.
