China is blaming the US for the Hong Kong protests. Can that really be true?

The image that protesters waved US flags made the situation difficult. At a glance, those who don't know the background of the protests would think that this rally is to show supporting for US. And, this image is also preferable for Beijing to let people misunderstand the situation. That is "US is trying to invade our country by mobilizing citizens in Hong Kong"
