It's mysterious that the city in the US adopted rolling stocks manufactured in China. I had thought that US allies wouldn't use trains manufactured in Russia or China. For example, Japan has never imported train from China since foundation of People's Republic of China. But, there are some opposite cases.
Japan's Tokyu has exported trainsets to Beijing Metro, and Kawasaki Heavy Industry has exported CRH2 series to China Railway.
