As is often the case with mega cities in developed nations, freight trains are diverted to freight dedicated lines or less congested lines, instead of heading for central station. Of course, its purpose is to decongest lines with many passenger trains. It seems to be the time for Delhi to build the new line for freight trains. I was surprised at the fact that passenger trains will also run on the rail. It's clever to commence passenger service at the same time, because it will need a lot of renovation work to commence passenger service on rail lines whoch has been dedicated for freight trains.
