Since TGV began commercial service, exterior of the train has been the same except for color. So, it would be an opportunity to create new designs for the next generation trains.
In Japan, the first high speed train "0 series" vanished in 2008. It had been 44 years after the first high spped rail opened. Judging from it, the initial TGV will be replaced with the new ones by 2025.
