Like this Island, small islands near huge cities easily become hidden tourists' destinations. For example, Staten Island off the coast of Manhattan, New York, became famous, because we can see Statue of Liberty from ships operated between Manhattan and the Island. It's cheaper than participating a tour of the statue.
