Why can we support such a hypothesis?

I think it's dubious that COVID-19 can easily be infected on train and bus.
The thesis doesn't coincide with the fact that United States have the largest number of victims around the world, despite common use of private vehicles In the States.

Furthermore, when we compare Hong Kong and Nagoya, we can see an evident result.
Both of the cities have almost the same population based on metropolitan size. While Hong Kong has 4 deaths, Nagoya has 34.
But, less than 20% of Hong Kongers own vehicles, while more than 55% of people around Nagoya own. It means the city using train or bus much more frequently has less deaths.
