Why are they taking a huge risk?

I don't agree with the idea of gathering tourists to go to destinations with lethal danger.
Except for specialists or those who are doing academic research on those areas, all of visitors must be kept away. And, even if academic research is carried out, drone or unmanned monitoring system would be highly recommended, instead of having someone go there.
