I headed for Kansai International Airport to board China Eastern Airline bound for Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
During the flight, I was told to choose Western food or Japanese food. Though I chose Western food, I found that pieces of baked eel was on rice. I think it's a kind of Japanese foods.
After arriving at Shanghai, I asked staff how much it costs from the airport to a hotel. Then, he showed me 300 CNY.
It was about three times as expensive as the fee of the hotel was. So, I decided to go there by train. The problem was that it would take 30 minutes walk to the hotel from the nearest station. But, I managed to reach the hotel.
As I expected , front office staff couldn't speak English. So, I had to make the most of what little Chinese vocabulary I had.
