After leaving the hotel, my family headed for Yokogawa, where cultural heritage of railways are displayed.
Yokogawa was one of intermediate stations on Shin-etsu Line. With completion of Nagano Shinkansen along Shin-etsu Line, a section between Yokogawa and Karuizawa on Shin-etsu Line was abandoned.
By using abandoned land, the railway park was opened.
I, my brother, and my mother rode a couch pulled by a steam locomotive.
the train went around the park for 15 mins.
We left the park for the restaurant serving Soba, which is Japanese noodle made from buckwheat.
There, I accidentally turned over a dish with buckwheat noodle. But, staffs voluntarily replaced it with new one.
Then, we headed for Minakami, Gumma.
Near Minakami station
After that, we reached a hotel.
