The railway is famous for a station master who is a cat.
So, I went all the way to Wakayama to see the cat by Nankai train.
After arriving at Wakayama-shi station, I headed for Wakayama station to eat lunch at Ide-shoten restaurant near the station.
The restaurant is famous for strong salty taste of miso soup with ramen(noodle).
It's the 3rd time I came here. My first visit was in 2008. I couldn't imagine that I would come here again with my wife.
I entered Wakayama Station
JR West 105 seiries on Wakayama Line
At Wakayama station, a travelling couple(juding from their conversation, they spoke Cantonese and English fluently. So, I guess they are Hong Konger) asked me where the platform for Shirahama is.
I replied it's No.5. But, I looked at electric signboard, LTD.Express bound for Shirahama would be leaving from Track 4 instead of No.4. So, I told her the truth, and confirmed whether or not she had a limited Express ticket.
As I expected, she had only regular ticket for Shirahama. So, I told her to buy express ticket on the train.
After that, I took a train for Kishi by Wakayama electric railway.
The train was called Umeboshi(meaning picked plum or plum star) train.
Inside the train, local products were displayed
I rode on the train to the terminus, Kishi station.

Unfortunately, station master was sleeping

I took Hanwa Line and Kansai Airport Line to get to KIX(Kansai Inetnational Airport)
From the airport, I rode on a ship
