Japanese government begged domestic companies to put off the season of recruitment

On March 15, Japanese government is going to beg domestic companies to put off the season of recruitment until April when job applicants are 4th year students, which now begins from December when they are 3rd year students in college.
The plan aims at reducing bad effects on education in college by shortening the season of job hunting. But, accomplishment of the seems to be difficult, because domestic companies are expected to disagree with the plan for fear that more smart students can be hired by foreign companies.
On the same day, it was also discussed in a forum to promote youngsters' and females' working(Presented by Amari, secretary in charge of economic reform).
Most of the participants showed a forward-looking attitude to the plan with the statement "In fact, job-hunters wouldn't attend classes when they are engaged in job-hunting."
On the other hand, the Federation of Economic Organizations opposed to the plan by submitting estimation that the shorter season of recruitment would lead to arise another 40 thousands unemployed workers.
Hirofumi Hirano, the secretary of ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, insisted that it may be preferred to put off the season of recruitment as late as possible in order to ensure time for students' studying. It must be begun at latter half of 4th grade.
And he also said "I want examinations of national public servants to be begun at the same season. I am going to think about what we can beg companies."

In 2011, ethic charter promoting companies to improve long-term job-hunting season was revised to put off starting date of explanatory meeting of companies from October to December.

It is also important for college students to learn what companies do beyond our vision through job-hunting.
So, I think current setting of job-hunting is ideal. If college teachers are afraid of studying, they had better have more classes when students are 1st or 2nd year students.
