I wonder why JR Central was chosen as a supporter of Taiwan High Speed Rail, despite the fact that bullet trains in Japan are operated by JR East, JR Central, JR West ,and JR Kyusyu. I'm sure that the reason why JR Kyusyu wasn't nominated for it was that JR Kyusyu has just began operation of high speed rail trains since 2 years ago.
Because Taiwan is along 'ring of fire', Taiwan High Speed Rail must have to take measures to reduce damage of earthquake.
By the way, before my riding Taiwan high speed rail, I knew that insufficient maintenance caused pitching of the trains. But, when I took Taiwan High Speed Trains, I didn't notice pitching.
So, I don't know whether Taiwanese maintenance is sufficient or not.
