These days, few and few people spend primitive lives even in developing countries.

In Japan, "Hungry spirit" is often used for criticizing the young, instead of "Hungry spirit". According to critics, "Hungry spirit" derives from poor lives. They say that most of the Japanese had one, because they were in poverty after World War ?. And, they also attribute it to lack of "Hungry spirit" that one of the reasons why young Japanese are defeated by the young in developing countries.
