Tetsuji Kobayashi,the president of Kintetsu, unveiled a plan to review installation of Direct Limited Express Train connecting Nagoya and Sannomiya. The train runs by way of Hanshin Namba Line, which opened on March, 2009.
The president said "While the train is inferior to Shinkansen in terms of travel time, it can compete with Shinkansen in terms of service including meal service and cheaper fares"
Free internet service for businessmen is also reviewed.
Kintetsu will introduce new trains furnished with compartments and cafeteria rooms. Kintetsu devises a way to entertain passengers during boarding.

I remember that initial plan to introduce Direct Limited Express Train between Nagoya and Sannnomiya was to implement on 2011. So, this plan seems to be postponed again.
