C-train, MTR purchased from Changchun Railway Vehicles co., Ltd, will begin to run on Kwun Tong Line commercially tomorrow. As the train passed all the test, the train was allowed to start business operation. In order to ensure the safety, the train will avoid running during rush hours for the time being.
MTR purchased 10 trains by 1.1 billion HKD from Changchun Railway Vehicles co., Ltd.
Since a few problems were found inside the trains, MTR decided to begin operation during off-peak hours and arrange more staffs to minimize their effects.
