A Hong Konger who is my follower on twitter told me the reasons why construction of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high speed railway is opposed by some Hong Kongers.
One of the reason is that they can't accept the construction expense which is about 400 billion Yen per 20 km.
The other reason is that safty concern has gradually arisen since train accidents in Wenzhou.
