My senior researcher will have to go to a junior high school near Sakai station. Though direct distance between our college and the junior high school is short, we have to take indirect course when going there by train. Otherwise, we have another choice of public transportation which is Nankai Bus Line 31 passes by the college and terminates at Sakai station. But it is likely to be involved in traffic jam and he won't reach the junior high school as scheduled.
So, LRT run along east-west in the downtown of Sakai was planned but only to be canceled by present mayor of Sakai.
In the situation that south half of Hankai Line is at financial risk, we would like to reconsider how public transportation should be.
